Day 113 | Poor Performers Are Right

The Harvard Business Review recently quoted a study of poor performers who think they are right 70% of the time.

In reality on the testing they were right 0% - none of the time.

What is the problem?

Bad Bosses.  These leaders:

  1. Hired the poor performers.
  2. Failed to manage them to achieve and hold them accountable.
  3. Did not develop the poor performers natural strengths or appeal to their key motivators.
  4. Retained them even when they were not performing well.

If you are struggling in any of these areas, email me.  A lot of the work I do is getting employees back on track... or out the door.

It is Monday.  ACCOUNTABILITY TIME!  (You should have done the following, at a minimum, in your Sanctuary time since late last Friday.)

  1. Review your 2014 goals.
  2. How did you do on your 3Strands last week?
  3. If you have defined your 3Strands for this week?

Stay on track.
